About Socialism and Socialist Policy

Socialism is the fundamental idea that capitalism and the elite class of oligarchs and billionaires that control the vast majority of the world's economy do so in active aggression against the working class and proletariat. socialism is built on several core beliefs. firstly that all humans are entitled to free health care, free college, free and fast infrastructure, and a government that supports unilateral democracy that isn't polarized by hatred. furthermore socialism is the idea that imperialism and the United States' funding of regime change and geopolitical instability are directly harming not only the populations of the countries involved but also the US citizens who never see the result of the trillions of dollars spent on foreign wars in the Middle East, Ukraine, and South America. in short, our mission as socialists and you as part of the Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School YDSA is to propagate these ideas through conversation, spirited debate, and eventually political office.
